Weight

In Ms Concannon's first class, the students set about investigating the weight (mass) of some items in their classroom. They decided to use cubes to measure which item was the heaviest because all of the cubes are the same size and weight. They filled the bucket balances until they were even.

They went online, using 'Glencoe Maths Manipulatives' to see if they could use an online digital balance. They noticed that it behaved exactly like their own balance.
