Kitchen towel is used in many of our homes so we wanted to see which one was the most effective for clearing up a spillage. The definition of 'most effective' was contested with great vigour. Some boys and girls chose to use syringes to douse the sheets of paper in an exact amount of liquid. Others decided to see how much liquid remained on the table once they had mopped up the spillage with the towels. Every approach was valid even if the results were quite different.
We love the way the boys and girls recorded their thinking. Very well thought out. Ingenuity at work!
